Echo Show is Alexa’s newest device that comes with a screen and speaker. It is similar to the Echo Dot, but with a few key differences. If you’re thinking about buying an Echo Show, or already have one, here’s how to set it up.
1) Plug in your Echo Show and wait for it to boot up.
2) Once it’s booted up, sign into your Alexa account if you’re not already signed in. You can do this by saying “Alexa, sign in.”
3) Once you’re signed in, you’ll be asked to set up some preferences. Follow the prompts and choose your language, time zone, and so on.
4) Now you’ll be asked to connect your Echo Show to a Wi-Fi network. Choose the network you want to connect to and enter the password when prompted.
5) After your Echo Show is connected to Wi-Fi, it will download any updates that are available. This may take a few minutes.
6) Once the updates are done downloading, you’ll be asked to select a default music service. You can choose from Alexa Music, Spotify, Pandora, and others. If you don’t have a music service yet, now would be a good time to sign up for one.
7) Now you’ll be asked if you want to enable video calling and messaging. This feature lets you call or message other Echo devices or the contacts in your phone’s address book. If you don’t want to enable this feature, you can skip it for now.
8) The next step is to set up your smart home devices. This includes things like thermostats, lights, and security cameras. If you don’t have any smart home devices yet, you can skip this step for now.
9) Now you’ll be asked if you want to see news briefings from CNN on your Echo Show. You can choose to see the briefing every day or just on
